Bruce Moore

I hope to explore attitudes towards dogs as companion animals in the post Covid workplace. Although I have completed two previous PhDs, I am new to the study of anthrozoology. I initially qualified as a solicitor (having obtained a law degree from Exeter University back in 1987) but I have spent most of my career in leadership roles in organisations concerned with housing and care for older people. As well as studying for a PhD I am still chief executive of Housing 21 (a charitable housing association operating across the whole of England with over 23,000 Retirement Living and Extra Care properties).

When not working and studying I enjoy walking with Millie, a lovely black labrador, obtained in October 2020 in between Covid lockdown restrictions.
