About the research
This research aims to analyse regional Farm Business Survey data in order to explore trends in farm incomes and dependence on CAP payments (Pillar I and II). Further to this interviews will be constructed to identify issues that arose, reasons, and the chain of events that lead up to leaving farming. After further interviews with support networks that are set up for leavers a final report will be issued on the outcome of data.
