Evidence-Based Policing is the use of research evidence to inform practice in law enforcement. This module will introduce you to the purpose and history of the evidence-based practice movement, and the developments in policing research. In this module you will discuss data collected by the police and you will be given police data and work in groups to develop research questions and carry out the projects to help inform police practice.
